Smart Ticket - Parking

I went to lunch with a friend today and found a likely space to park the Smart. Unfortunately, the restaurant owner was on vacation because of the holiday so we came back out to find a policeman eyeing the car. I walked over and asked if I should move it. He asked me the usual barrage of questions about the car and then said he wasn't going to give me a ticket but I should move it to a metered space.

I did. When we came out after lunch, I saw a ticket under the wiper. I looked at the meter and still had two minutes, so I was a little upset. I thought they may have claimed I was too far from the curb or something, but then I looked at the ticket. And, if I can get it to post here, you'll see what I found.
