How i installed two air horns

I just unpluged the factory horn & pluged one air horn into harness, no relay needed.
I purchased a relay for the second horn & wired it to the other horn, so when I push the original horn button on the steering wheel they blast.
I was at a resturant, setting next to a window, where I could see my smart car. A group of people left the resturant & one of their kids went over & leaned on the car, so he could have his picture taken with the car. I hit the panic button & i'm telling you that kid nearly jumped over the hood of their car, that was parked next to mine --- makes a great touch me not alarm.
I have the car decorated for christmas, with a large Troll Doll on the front & a Big Bear on the back.
A very large woman went up to the car & started kinda pulling on the Troll & I hit the panic button & she started screaming & running like he** & may still be running! I so mean!!
You can see photos in MY GALLERY, under the U--ufofortom & under j--jpaul--also under ufofortom.

Has anybody installed a configuration which allowed you to select between the original horn and the train horn? If such an installation option existed then I think I'd install one myself, because there are times when a regular honk is needed to gently alert a driver of xyz and I could see the rare need for a train horn. However, I wouldn't want a train horn only option as I'd like to keep the option open for quick regular honk. I know I wouldn't get the same reaction giving a quick train horn honk, people would interpret it as who is this jerk off in the golf cart rather than "oh, I'm not paying attention, the light was green and I'm sitting here oblivious texting away on my phone"?

lol, that's so funny. Now you have me wanting one. Now I'm starting to rethink my viewpoint, I think if a Smart honked at me with a train horn I'd find it so funny that I'd give a thumbs up to whomever was honking at me. haha

I didn't originally see this video because I didn't read the click on it if it isn't working P.S. note. Good to see myspace/facebook video feeds still work ten percent of the time. Nothing beats youtube. :P

YouTube - Evo 8 with train horns. pt. 4..
I hate EVO drivers. I've been jaded about them ever since this retard rented the place next door who wanted to turn his place into an EVO repair facility, dumping racing fluid in the drain, etc. We were on his a** and got him regularly fined for various things so much that he finally moved. Took convincing the landlord that his contract needed to not be renewed. The landlord decided to sell his place to get the guy out. He use to keep his car running with the garage door closed that's how stupid this guy was and his EVO friends didn't seem to have a higher IQ...but maybe just CT EVO people are insanely dumb. Sorry, a bit of a bad experience causing me to rant and ramble.

Question...just for shi*s and grins...is there a reasonable way to keep the original horn and have an option between a ship and a train horn?

Get the horn you want, horn relay & horn button, plus some auto wire.
Mount the new horn in same place as factory horn, except other side ( pass side ). Hook up horn to horn relay (as shown in relay directions ) & run wire up through firewall & install a horn button of your choice (there are many ) on the dash ( being careful ) where you drill hole for button & wire.
Now----wasn't that pretty easy?

Thanks Tom, I think I will do that when the warm weather comes around again.

Yes, like Staple's Easy button. Thx.

I wonder if there is a way to mod a button in the blank space next to the emergency flasher button.

Is there a horn that can do both a ship and train horn?

Ship and/or train horns require relatively large air tanks (5 liter or better) at 120-200 psi and an onboard 12v air compressor. 5 liters will give you maybe a 10 second blast, and require up to 90 seconds to recharge.

I have a Kong III train horn for my truck, but haven't gotten around to installing it. I am having a hard time choosing a suitable place to mount it concealed on a 6800lb truck. I would say that mounting it on a smart might be problematic.

Oh, I need to put air bags on my rear suspension which require an air tank/compressor my vehicle for towing (not the Smart)...wonder if I could use the same air tank for a train horn.

Seems like a train horn would give a better effect for looking around for a train while a ship...well, unless you are driving near port docks then it should be fair to assume a ship isn't nearby.
