Smart vs Dodge Charger R/T

since we're doing so many comparisons (Yaris, Mini, Crown Vic?) that i thought i would start my own.....Smart vs Dodge Charger R/T

first up, the Smart; small, easy to manuver, 38-42 mpgs, fun to drive, available in a few bright colors, attracts attention where ever you go and can be parked in places which others can only dream.

next, the Dodge Charger R/T; large, bulky in comparison, fuel mileage sucks (yea, it's got a HEMI !), fun to drive, available in a few bright colors, attracts some attention but can only be parked in conventional parking places.

ok, there you have it....MY take on this comparison is that the Smart wins overall, HANDS DOWN!

Spoken by one who seems proud to call the INDY 500 home! Hopefully, you'll be able to get your Smart on the brickyard one of these days - a Smart Pace Car, maybe? Now that would make a good picture!
Great job!

The smart is the perfect blend of a Flintstonemobile and a Jetsonmobile. You don't have to use your feet to push it, but it won't quite fly, either.

Never liked the new Chargers personally, plus hey, 2 doors compared to 4, come on . But compare our smart to a Challenger, now you're talkin! Actually, I'll still stick with our smart!!!!!

Well, I have a smart and a Charger RT. Love them both, but in different ways. Don`t see how you can compare them. ex300SRT8 mentions the Challenger, and that`s what I want next, but gotta wait til the dealers quit wanting $5,000-$20,000 over sticker.

Hmmm, I guess maybe I should start a "smart vs garbage truck" thread! ;)

I'd like the challenger, but for $40 grand we could have two smarts!
