Smart vs. Hummer

I was at a local shopping center parking lot waiting for someone to back out so I could take the space. I swung right and started into the space and here comes a Hummer from the other side.

The Hummer looked like it was doing a pull-through parking from the other side. I wasn't going to give up my space and go around to take the space from the other side behind the Hummer, so I stood my ground.

Turns out the Hummer was actually pulling out of its parking space with the intent to front out through the space I was pulling into. It backed out and drove away.

Somehow I am reminded of that Chinese guy in front of the tanks at Tiananmen square.
