Smart winshield wipers!

Who else has noticed how smart our wipers are? My wife says I'm the only one who would notice such a thing. Our car is a Pure so YMMV.

Wipers on high while driving then come to complete stop wiper speed switches to slow then back to high when moving again. On low it switches to intermittent (but faster than normal intermittent) and if on intermittent it does not change. So take the poll and show i'm not a geek!

I have the automatic wipers (sensor)... so I was never really sure - all I knew is that the car was taking care of it :-)

I keep Rain-X on my windshield, so I don't normally even use my wipers.

I'd vote for "they don't seem so Smart" since - specifically for the automatic mode - they sometimes go crazy diring light mist. While they often do a decent job, the speed sometimes goes to hyperdrive while there's very little precipitation on the window.

No, you get rain sensing wipers with the comfort package. With his vehicle being a Pure, that is not available. The standard wipers are speed sensitive, regardless of model.

I just realized this a few weeks ago, but what really is appreciated is, that when the wipers are on and you are in reverse, and the rear wiper will give one sweep.

Rear wiper also has a soft "beep" every time it sweeps so you don't forget and leave it on.
