About 2 weeks ago I talked to the dealer about SmartExpress and getting a car like I had configured. They called me today about a car just like I had configured that was going into production and the reservation on this car has been cancelled. They said it could be at the dealership about the end of July if I wanted it. I said I did.
That's awesome. I've had five people this week alone ask where I got my "Smart Car." When I tell them I waited 13 months for a custom order, they looked sincerely disappointed. But I told them they can probably get one fairly close to what they want within 2 months by talking to a dealer.
Gas is $2.30/gal, "My big truck can squash your little car."
Gas is $2.65/gal, everyone wants a Smart.
I used Smart Express to get my black Brabus coupe. Ordered on April 6th, delivered on May 20th this year. That equals to about the time it takes to order an American car. I have ordered most all of my cars for several years and the wait time has been about six weeks each time. Smart express takes most of the grief out of buying a Smart.
