Before this gets out of hand I just want to state that I don't know what the status of Smartimes magazine is. They may still be in business. They advertised 4 editions/year and have only done one this year so far. Personally, I have waited long enough and will seek a refund.

Interesting; when they were at the Dragon there was some talk about them and smart USA doing something together. Guess that didn't go anywhere.

I subscribed in Aug and I have not received any magazines. I have called them two times and left messages and I have been E-mailing them once a week and nobody has returned my calls or E-mails.

I've subscribed to 3 different car magazines in the last few years that have folded. Let's hope for European Car's sake that trend doesn't continue since I just ordered subscription for that mag through one of those school fundraiser things.

I'm curious as to why, in this day-and-age of promoting conservation, sustainability, and eco-friendly products, is anyone subscribing to magazines anymore? At a minimum, subscribing to a password for an online site, or using the freebies would accomplish this.

I know, I know,...shut up.

If I have to have a mag, I usually get it off the shelf (top rack) But I have learned that if its not from one of the top dawgs (Time, newsweek, playboy, etc.) that have been around for years, its not a safe bet to throw money at them.

Only when it gets hot enough to start burning your legs, other than that, it's fine!
