The Smartimes Magazine link is Smartimes Magazine | The Smart Car Magazine, not Smartimes Magazine | The Smart Car Magazine.
That said, it is the same content that has been there for months now - nothing new on it.

Well, when I click on your link, this is the address I get (in Internet Explorer 8)
"http://www.smartimesmagazine.com/". I suppose there is a re-direct going on?

Makes it more difficult to add the site to favorites in IE, Firefox, Google Toolbar when the incorrect address is presented. What would the average person do if their bookmark fails?

Anyway, still no access to back issues, even for subscribers? Print may be dying, but sites like this won't replace it.

Visiting the working link, I find several things:

• Any magazine that has (as its content) mostly stuff about the magazine itself is probably not going to return value for money. Had I seen all of that in the archives before I put my electronic money down, I would have thought twice about subscribing. Writing about what you are writing about is one of the tricks that content poor publications resort to when attempting to pad out an issue to a given length.

• Although I was given a password for access to the site when I put my money down, it does not work to access the rest of the archives.

• There are quite a few "broken" elements on the website that were broken when I subscribed back in July. They remain broken to this day.

More and more, I despair of ever seeing issue one of my subscription. I have attempted to apply for a refund, but haven't heard anything back.

It appears they were trying to build capital before printing an issue. They were building capital by duping us into subscribing. Most solvent companies print out a bunch of copies in anticipation it will sell. Smartimes Magazine was hoping to generate enough money from smart owners before they had to print.

Looks like they didn't get enough to begin printing.

If they ever begin printing, I wouldn't subscribe even if it was 3 years for 3 dollars.

I received an email from Smartimes magazine yesterday offering a 2010 calendar for sale. Pretty gutsy from people who fail to deliver on the magazine subscription I purchased approx. 6 months ago.

Same here. I passed on the calender. I felt if I ordered it, I wouldn't receive it until 2011.
