One of the world’s smallest vehicles is making a huge impact on the automotive industry.
As you may know, the number of Smart Car owners worldwide is still growing. Its introduction to the North American market has put thousands more consumers on the waiting list and the number of Smart Car owners is set to exceed 1 Million worldwide by next year.
In spite of the recent media buzz surrounding the Smart Car, something has been missing—a publication that thrives on the enthusiasm and contributions of the growing community of Smart Car owners around the world.
But that is about to change!
Smartimes magazine, an international publication providing news, views and product information about the Smart Car, is under new management and will re-launch July 2008, with all new issues and a fresh look. The magazine, founded in the U.K and first published in April 2003, has a rich history of being one of the best and most comprehensive trade publications because it is produced by Smart Car owners for Smart Car owners. That will not change.
I hope all of you are chomping-at-the-bit with stories, photos and technical material to provide for our readers. We will be accepting material no later than June 21, for our first re launch edition in July 2008.
A letter from outgoing editor and publishing editor Stephen Goddard will headline the first issue accompanied by an introduction letter from the new staff.
