I hope this event is a big success. We need good events all around the country and this should be attractive for Arizona and California smarties.

A bit too far for many of us on reletively short notice and a long way to go for a 1 day event but again I hope the turnout is strong and will look forward to reports and pictures after the event.

I agree and wish them success. It looks like a great time.

My only complaint was that the way it was worded. It's a "smart USA" event for ALL yet mentions it being 'most convenient as for a drive'. Obviously aimed at the West Coast more than the entire U.S. I know they mentioned flying, but I can't see attending a smart meet without my SMART. Isn't that the whole purpose? To experience the drive, show off your smart and see others? I would have loved to take mine around Las Vegas Speedway, after lapping IMS, but can't do that long a drive on such a short notice......especially in the WINTER.

As for timing, maybe have a "smartmas in July" event? Of course in Las Vegas, it would only be 120 DEGREES....so I don't see that being too 'smart'. Maybe somewhere else?

Sorry if I seem like I'm whining....we have another thread for that.

This is the first I heard of it. Like many, it is just a little too far to travel to from New Jersey. It would be cool to have some thing similar in Atlantic City New Jersey but in July or one of the Summer months.

I hope there are photos and videos for those who are unable of getting there.
