Kwagar... that is why I still have my FXR... with the right rubber and suspension tune I can still drag my knees like on a sport bike... Got so used to my riding style that when I borrowed a friends Ultra I kept draggin a floor board or somthing and hopping the rear tire up...very disturbing on a giant bike...

Hah... I was actually thinking about this the other day. A group of us went down from Saturnfans.com... it was absolutely amazing. You definitely want to surround yourself with drivers you trust though - some of the turns are wild. I had ordered my new tires before I left for the trip, and when I got back - I needed them, badly... let's just say that I am the first person known to drift a VUE

I'd love to go back again in the smart.

I'm up for it, but I probably won't get mine until late this year or early next, since I just put down my deposit today. We are planning to take the Miata down in May. We will be driving the entire Blue Ridge Parkway down, spend a couple days on the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway, then drive the Blue Ridge Parkway back.

I was actually on the western part of the Cherohala Skyway a few years ago and didn't realize it. I took the side trip to Bald River Falls.

FV4 - I'm with ya on that - the FXR's handle great, but my FLHR already has the floorboards ground down so no problem. However, for Western NC my FJR1300 is a better choice.

I'd love to bring the smart down for a week just to play - name the date. However, I think that the Cherohala and other local roads would be better suited to the smart than the Draqon - it's very over hyped.
