.....and I don't speak (or read French), but how do we KNOW this camera was attached to a 'smart'? It sure didn't sound like MY smart!

I thought that maybe in the end, the surprise would be that you would see this person/idiot get out of a tiny little smart instead of a Porsche, Ferrari or some other performance car.

I agree with Jetfuel. That is reckless driving regardless of what they are driving (unless it was a prepared professional stunt). Also, it's strange that it's so smooth! I expected the video to show more trepidation from the road. Maybe the roads in Paris are that smooth and flawless. Or the camera had an image stabilizer.

Garage
Nice to see everyone recognizes this as wreckless driving.
Probably a Hayabusa smart.

Time to fess up. Big Panda got it right. I was just messin with ya. The film was made in Paris in 1978. The camera was mounted on a Ferrari. Car was driven by an un-named F1 driver. When the film was premeired at a film festival, the film maker was arrested. He never revealed the driver. We used to show this film at SCCA Christmas party many years ago. I guess nothing dies in you-tube-land.

I actually like the video, reminded me that beautiful city, but I wouldn't like having someone driving like that in my city. Thanks for the info about it Mike.

Ok let's continue with the pictures:

We can't leave the Mini out of this thread:

And of course the original Mini Mr. Bean style:

Citroen C3 Pluriel, reminds me the VW Beetle in some way, this was taken behind The Opera, you can see Lula here:

The original Fiat 500:

The Aixam A721, the smallest we saw:

Those are all the pictures, I hope you liked them.

As a passenger I would have had to wear diapers on that trip.
