My wife and I will be driving our smarts in our local 4th of July parade. Anybody else doing something similar? Of course our Golden Retrievers, Lucy and Lola, will be riding shotgun. Will post pictures after the parade.
No smart float, but when the new beetle came out I loaded one on a barge for the river parade, we had to take it out the day before the river parade to see if it would fit under the bridges. Really cool floating thru SA with the radio on.
I plan on having my Smart in the Lockhart Chisholm Trial Roundup next year. In fact, I'd like all the area Smarts to be in it -- this year all the local members of the Chevy Avalanche (pickup) Owners were in the parade. They were also in the Luling Watermelon Thump parade, too. We Smart owners look so much cooler in our little Smarts that bubbas in pickups. Your photos prove it!

4th of July parade in Mira Mesa (a suburb in San Diego). They borrowed a smart from the local dealer. On the back it said " Now we need SMART Gov't.!"
They should of had a Cabrio! They guy was walking next to the car.
