SMARTUKI Turn key???

Does anyone have or know of when and where a Smartuki or Smartabusa turn key or kits will be availibly in the US. Last word on the Smartuki site was they are working on a local manufacturer and distro. Any news from the inside on these is appriciated.

Looking for sidesaddle or rear engined? Who has put one in a 451 that functions at all like a street car?

OK OK just a recap on my situation and to clearify.

I have been interested in the smart car since I saw a you tube of a smart car with a GXSR installed. Opon further investigation I learned there is a company in the UK called Smartuki and they do this mod. You drive in and drive out with it installed.
Well Smartuki knows that there is a huge market for that here in the states, so they have started looking for local manufacturers that can make their product and distrubite in the states (this would be cheaper than shipping from the UK).
I am under the understanding that they are also looking into getting a distrobution of turn keys. By definition a turn key is just that. A car that you can purchase complete and ready to start for the first time by its new owner.(in theory)
Now that was the news two months ago and on their site: www.smartuki.com it states that this will be happening soon. That was in June.
I am asking if anyone knows of any news on this matter. possibly anyone who has dealing with Smartuki.... Any info is appriciated.

chicken feet---->As for how much money do I have well in fact I have a five dollar bill on me why do you ask. hehe...

And I am just asuming that they will call their new creation the Smartabusa. Get it. Smart + Hayabusa motor = Smartabusa, just like Smart + Suzuki(GXSR1000) = Smartuki

Again, THAT car is a 450. And though it's not side saddle, I don't think you have much usability as a street car.

If you're so enamored as to what a Haybusa does in a four wheeled car, take a look at my avatar. In a sub-1300 lb Radical the straight line performance is about on par with a quickish street car.

I don't know if I fully understand your reply. What is a side saddle. and as for the 450. I'm pretty sure with the new 451 because it's a hair bigger they are trying to fit a hayabusa motor in it. I know It's not going to be a daily driver, but street yes. I'll just have to limit my driving. besides its a toy not my baby "XB"
