.....only 60 days later. but at least they did. here's what they had to say about 'new colors' and 'new options' for the 2009 model:

"Dear smart Enthusiast Plans regarding any possible changes to the 2009 model smart fortwo have yet to be finalized. The latest information will be available on our website, www.smartusa.com. If you have any other questions or concerns please contact us via email or by phone at 1.800.smartusa. Thank you for your interest in smart USA. You will be hearing from us soon! Jason Dupree Customer Service 1.800.smartusa www.smartusa.com"

interesting, since they've already released the new colors and they're NOT on the 'smartusa' website.

can't wait until i hear from them again.....SOON!

Where did they "release" these new colors?

This is word for word the same email I got in answer to the same question, but only took an hour.

The smart usa party line seems to be "we know nothing". The dealer seems to know plenty about the fact that colors are changing, but no actual dates when 2008 colors are out and 09 are in.

We're getting close to the new model year and those of us with cars due this fall would like some solid info.
