I don't know if I can stand the wait! The car was loaded, on 8/22 and will be arriving in MD then head to Boston. I wonder how long it will take from MD to MA? I had never seen a Smart car, up close, till I test drove one 8/23 and signed all the papers. I was very happy and knew what to expect, thanks to all of you on the forum. It is going to be perfect for our commute! I got the yellow w/black, the 2 "eyes" on the dash and the comfort package. I also got the extended warrenty and travel guard. For some reason I was thinking I was going to get it Aug 09.....a pleasant surprise. In fact the same car came in that day in Somerville but it was not mine. It was fun watching them unload the little ones.

I did my reservation 11/27/07. I couldn't print my conformation and closed the window thinking I would get an email with the res #. I never got an email. So I have no idea what my # is. Anyway I configured 4/27/08. I checked the DDE once and thats when I thought it said Aug 09. So I put it out of my mind and then they called! I will check to see if it lands on Friday (the 2 week mark for the port to port time). I'm hoping to have it by 9/13ish. Why oh Why can't there be a dealer in NH?

My car arrived in MD on 9/7/08 and is now on the lot in Boston waiting for the plates to arrive. Hoping I can pick it up tomorrow
