HMMMM I will be dealing with this same dealership. Have you talked to the manager. I know I have dealt with a couple of very rude sales people there, but the manager has always been very nice and helpful. Please tell us when you get yours? Maybe mine will be one of the 40 they are expecting I don't think so though.
The price will not go up. The dealer MUST hold the price quoted when you configured.
Otherwise you have a consumer fraud/malpractice suit. You did print it out, didn't you?
Also applies to SALES TAX. Here in CA we're getting a 1% sales tax rate hike. I will pay the old rate when my smart arrives on Jan 12.
Well a friend of mine was driving on the 91 freeway day before yesterday and there a truck load of Smarts headed to Riverside. Looks like some So. California people will be becoming "smarter" soon. Since my DDE still hasn't moved in over a week, I guess it won't be me. Hopefully in February!
