Drove my smart to Ohio a few days ago and I spent about $90 for fuel. It could have been less but I was still happy with the result. Drove back home in my daughters ride with two back seats and a DVD player and a bunch of other toys. My pace on the way back was about the same as the trip to Ohio and the fuel cost "Per person" was under $50. For 99% of my driving the smart is the right car for me just me or my spouse together. for a young family it may not be the best solution.
I know mine is a keeper
