Something new every day - wipers

I just discovered when the wipers are set for constant running and you come to a full stop, they switch to interval mode until you start driving again. I guess I've been asleep at the wheel for a while. I do know the rear wipes once if you go into reverse and the main wipers are on.

Nice feature actually. Not on any previous car. Is this a Mercedes thing?

The reverse/rear wiper feature is a Mercedes thing.

It's a smart thing to read your manual.

I have that feature on my BMW, I love it, dont have to hear that constant swishing, and you dont have to touch anything!

I guess I'm being too picky, but I miss not being able to set the interval time. Sometimes I need them to wait a little longer in between wipes.

Put the wipers in automatic, it will adjust them for you.

Doesn't that just work if you have the auto wipers? I didn't get the comfort package.

How about external rear view mirrors, do they aim down in reverse?
