why must people post the same information on a new post instead of just looking and seeing that 5+ other people have already made new posts for this and there is one on 2009 Brabus which has nearly 100 replies.

1)Does someone need a nap???? 2) Can you show me the 5+ posts on everyone who has configured as of 10/23/08 will get their car by 2/09 ?

3) This just might be a place where friendly people like to talk with each other. I am sure one can find a forum that sticks to the facts, No fun is to be had, only one post to state the fact with no other mention of the said stated fact, and finally, banning for anyone who repeats or posts a like topic in the form.

4) if you do not like the topic don't read the tread.

lets see which is better 100 threads with 2 posts or 1 thread with 200 posts? Ill pick the later as then I wont have to search through all the threads which are on the same topic to find information. That way and also then there wont be duplicates of information saying the exact same thing. It just gets old that every time new information comes out that there are tons and tons of threads on the exact same thing. When the announcement for DRL came out the exact same thing happened. I just encourage people to use the search thread and add to threads of similar nature instead of being lazy and just making a new thread every time something strikes that person. So that you dont take it so personally...Ill call everyone out that does it in the future.

Is that not a reasonable request? I may have gone about it in a strong way, but I really feel that no one knows what a search button on a forum is there for and when you see a new thread started every week about comparing smart to mini or smart to yaris or DRL or...you get the point...and they are always the same information conveyed...

Sure the information may have been new about getting the BRABUS in Feb, but why could that not be added to the thread about BRABUS which is where people had been going to discuss BRABUS. Im not sure why this wouldnt be the logical place to post such things, but maybe I have a different opinion of blog protocol.

I would like to think that issues like this should be handled by the forum administrator and he/she decide ultimately if the threads should be merged/deleted/left alone. Also, I would believe that the administrator would comment through PM to the user about how to use the forum.

Thats like calling the cops on something that could have been handled between two people. I didnt realize making a suggestion would have so many up in arms...it honestly seems like the respectful thing to do for your fellow online friends to limit the amount of multithreads. Maybe I could have come about it in a nicer way, but this forum has been littered with multiple threads on the exact same thing over and over...gets old. This thread has derailed enough now...
