Speedometer

Does anyone know if the speedomoter in the Smart can be recalculated if it is out? I thought mine was out and checked it with two gps units and found I was doing 5 km slower than what the speedomoter was registering. In other words, if my speedomoter said I was doing 50, I was actually doing 45. Has anyone else found similar issues with their speedomoters?

Mine was that way too, I put larger tires on (all around) and not it reads exact with GPS and portable radar boards. The odometer also reads off, and I made it worse with larger tires. However both are within the allowable tolerances in that industry.

Mine is about 2 mph optimistic at 60 mph according to Garmin. I've also noticed that the odometer reads a few miles less at each gas stop than the gps. My Subaru's odometer is exactly the opposite, reading more miles than the measurement of my gps.
