Squeaky brake pedal fix?

I just noticed that the brake pedal seems to be squeaking this morning. Anyone else run into this and what did you use to silence it? I've been using a light coat of white lithium grease on the door/hatch locks, but not sure I can get it where it needs to go on the pedal. Of course, I haven't looked either since it just started. WD-40 is always an option as well, but just wanted some feedback. Thanks.

Mine brake pedal does that too. Then it goes away. I just turn up the radio. It under the floor board, the squeaking noise. Can't get to it.

Yep, I had that. Replaced the pedal under warranty.

This is entirely too funny, as my brake pedal was squeaky this morning also! Never was before!

I didn't notice it on the way home... just on the way out earlier.

Ours squeaks sometimes. Maybe it has to do with humidity and dampness, like brake pads after a rainstorm? Doesn't seem to bother anything, though.

It was fine this evening. This morning was our first cool morning (about 50 degrees) as we head into the fall, so that probably had something to do with it. I'll just monitor it for now.

Another squeaky brake pedal here.

Because, my Subaru has been doing the same for a while (years...), I just figured that sooner or later all brake pedals squeak!

I'm getting close to my 10K oil change, so I'll have the smart Sacramento helpful folks take a look at it then. And also the squeaky steering wheel...

Same here. My brake pedal squeaked when I first got the car, then stopped. Every once in a while a slight squeak returns, but is gone in a day or two.
