Stop negitive posts.

The Smart community has many enemies. Prominent among them are the Big 3, their paid PR houses (Global Insghts and others), and the main stream auto press.

It's not the number of Smarts sold that worrys them, but the idea that the public will begin to see small vehicles Good - big vehicles Bad.

With all the outide power aligned against us, do we need to help them spread
outright lies and misinformation designed to hurt Smart in the US? Lets say NO!

Stop reposting articles that are obviously industry lies and spin.

A2Jack.

Nope, we'll continue to report both sides of this story. People can make up their own minds.

Is that why you don't use Quotation marks when you post your articles. ;)

"Stop reposting articles that are obviously industry lies and spin."

I like seeing both sides. I can do my research and make up my own mind. If one likes to believe the spin of others and base their beliefs on lies and spin then so be it. For the first year or so that certainly isn't going to hurt sales, being there are more reservations than cars. After that the car will speak for itself and truth shall reign and we will know if in fact we did make the correct choice. In the meantime I shall read the spin and smile.

I agree. It does not intimidate me reading both sides. Hey, we're smart folks here, right?

I use the QUOTE function for all articles. It puts QUOTE in big bold letters at the top, everything is in italic and inside a box.

This is a classic sign of smart car jitters. Everyones got an opinion, that's what makes this forum great - just don't get so personal and everything will be fine. When it's all been said and done we will all have our little smart fortwo. :0

Thanks for the talking about "smart car jitters." Mine is coming in this week and my hands are clammy, feet are getting cold, worries about mistakes I made in the config (missed the dang alarm). Do I want to give up something that can haul stuff home from Costco. Oh My!!! I need some support!!!
