I made this sun shade for my newly installed Kenwood dnx5120. I own a fabrication shop so this is what I do. It just slides in place and is snug enough to keep it in place even on rough terrain. It's made from 20ga steel and powdercoated flat-black. I put felt on the inside to make it fit snug. This one is 1 1/2" overall width and overhangs an inch once in place. I can make it any width but don't reccommend more than 2" overhang or it may be tough to remove cds. pm me if interested. Since I don't know how it would work with other units and don't have the means of testing, I will only make them for this unit. I apologize if this thread violates forum rules.
