Swappable / Removable Signs (Wrap?)

I see a lot of people doing a lot of funky Smart wraps, however, does anyone make a "removable" "side panel" sign like a "magnetic sign" but would somehow work on non-magnetic Smart plastic side door panels?

I have 2 companies and there would be times it would be handy to swap out one for another now and then. (Yeah, I got it, buy 2 Smarts - sorry, don't have the $$$$$ for that right now.) Or maybe take it off if I'm on vacation?

My inquiring mind wants to know too ... I would like to advertise my wife's book but not for the entire life of the car. How easily do wraps come off (intentionally) ?

Google search for "magnetic signs for car" and you'll get lots of sites that make magnetic signs for autos. I suppose you could attach magnets or maybe even steel metal strips to the inside of your door panels to secure the sign from the outside. See FQ101 : Smart Car Modifications for removing the door panels.

Wrap your existing panels with one sign; buy additional panels for other signs. I believe that a panel kits are in the $800 range.

They make vinyl "stickers" or "static-cling" signs that you can just stick on your vehicle. I don't know whether these are more than one-use things or whatever (I only use 'em once), but they're fairly inexpensive and you get them from the same places that do the wraps.

Your pal,
Meat.

Quality Vinyl is easily removed in the first 5 years. Just use a hair dryer and bring it over 100 degrees and start on an edge. Any residue can be removed with vinyl off.

The most effective way to use your Smart for advertising is to do a complete panel wrap. We can do a custom set of panels (ad-SkinZ) for one of your businesses and then after you swap them, send us the other set in the dealers box and we'll wrap them for your other business. Then just swap them out every 60 days. You'll keep them guessing.

We get calls everyday from driving our Saturn around. I've given out business cards at stop lights, gas stations, the grocery store, just about everywhere I go. Can't wait for my Smart. I might just have to buy one off of ebay if an orphan doesn't appear soon.

Door signs are no where near as effective advertising as wrapping your Smart panels. A Smart car with good attention getting graphics on a full panel wrap will get 100 times more calls than a door graphic.

One hint: 60% of the exposure of a wrapped vehicle is the rear of the car. Before I would do a door sign I would do Rear window perf with your business message.

We can help you with that to.

You can find more about the graphics and custom process on my websites.

Just visited your web page.

I just visited your web site. I loved the Smart Car Wraps. How about a picture of a smart car wrapped instead of the truck.
