Tach

Hey out there in Smart land. Picked up new Smart cabrio last saturday. Was orphaned but had everything plus some that wife had ordered one month earlier. Drives great (have had several small sport cars before).
Has anybody seen or heard of a Tach being added that is not Smart's expensive tach/clock add-on? Why they don't offer just a tach without the clock is senseless. The clock is overload. There is one in the dash, one in the stereo and one in the GPS.

I have not heard of it but I kinda like the tach and clock on my smart. As one female friend said, "it's obvious that your smart is a boy, just look at the dash". LOL

I like the gauge pods myself but have a bit of repetition in the Tach dept too. I have a Scangauge - that may be the solution to your question though it doesn't give you the classic look of a standard tach - it gives you #'s of what your engine is doing and sooooo much more.

LOL, I think they make the car even more sporty.
