Taking your smart to traditional car shows.

Do you guys ever take your car to traditional shows? Just trying to gather opinions on whether or not I should take mine to a local show this upcoming Saturday.

What is your experience in taking your car to shows? Do you find it pointless or get rejected at registration? I'm iffy on going as I've never done it before and don't want to get laughed off the lot.

I regularly attend car shows and cruise-ins in one of my three special interest cars. I usually see a Smart or two there and they get lots of attention. I have a black Brabus coupe on order and I plan to take it to some events as soon as it arrives. Good luck and have fun with your car at the shows.

A number of us here in Central Florida regularly attend car shows of all kinds. We always get treated well and our smarts always get a lot of attention.

Go for it.

I think some folks have gone to show to look but wound up being a distraction because of all the attention they got.

I could care less but some have felt that a stock car off the lot shouldn't be in a show but if you have put in the modifications like lambo's then yes. To me that says only those with money can be in shows. That doesn't seem right to me.

Just my 3 cents

PS Hey Cube, thats some nice photos

I started hitting those early morning, non-organized, but well planned, gone by 9:30 car shows and they're very, very interesting. Lots of assortment of every kind of vehicle you can think of. Believe it or not, I get a lot to talk and meet a lot of people when I walk past my own smart...

The shows locally around here are 'the more the merrier' type of shows. they take anything from brand spanking new to vintage bicycles. I'm sure they will welcome my Smart, but then what do I leave at home??? I can only drive one at a time....

There was a classic car show here in VA and we were invited to bring our Smarts.
My car is the one the 3rd row (2nd from the left) here-----> Virginia Classic Cruisers Car Club . It was fun
