Well-I removed the rear valance to experiment on and here are the results:
Dawn dishsoap-didn't touch it,I shouldn't say that,it did bubble in a few spots but wouldn't let go of the surface.
Murphey's oil soap-didn't do anything at all
WD-40-removed the oil now I am waiting to see if it removes the paint or eats the plastic.
I am going to a motorcycle shop tomorrow morning to see if they can recommend anything and I'll stop by the smart dealer and talk to them.I e-mailed Denis at s-p-d where I got the panels from and maybe he can make a few suggestions.

I use BUG & Tar remover by LIFTER 1 Products. Work great on my white cabrio.. Black & Yellow can Spay it on. Let it sit 15 min then wipe off. Works great!!!!

Ok,bought some Turtle Wax bug and tar remover.Works just fine,got it all off the valance and didn't scratch.Wednesday I'll take the side skirts off and do those.Denis from S-P-D.com e-mailed back and they are clear-coated just like the body panels.
