Let's get out the torches and the rope find um and string um up. I've getting so used to news and organizations bashing the smart I hardly get outraged anymore.

I love the clown who reviewed the car, but doesn't own one~! He just wants to bash it because he has a Civic that gets good mileage . . . sour grapes, maybe. Who knows? The world is full of idiots like that.
Wanna help out - go write a review and post it.

I couldn't care less what Yahoo autos, Consumer Reports, or my next door neighbor says about my smart. "I" love it. "I" bought it. "I" drive it. It's not the perfect car for everyone, but it's perfect for me. Quit trying to convince the naysayers. It'll never happen!

Just E-N-J-O-Y your car!!!!!!!!!!!

What about the one that owns one but put in as cons that they don't feel safe driving it. What the hell did you buy the car for if you don't think it's safe. Morons! I'm getting my righteous indignation back (kind of like how Stella got her groove back but for a smart).

I assume you are talking about this joker...

What a miserable piece of work!

Pros Easy to park
Cons Everything else

Purchased As Not Purchased

It really is miserable - poor ride, small, fuel economy is worse than my 10 y.o. Civic that constantly has been giving me 41mpg AVERAGE city/hwy for over 10 years and 200,000 miles. With 2 malfunctions.
With 90 mph it would be feasible, otherwise - a joke. Bad joke.

Wait a second, the bad reviews are from people who don't own the car... I guess that makes them experts on the car.

Quote:
This car is only good for MPG that's it.....

Pros MPG....That's it
Cons Ride is rough, Ugly, Doesn't fit in the US, Very unsafe, high price for a car its siz

Purchased As Not Purchased

The car is great if you want to save money on gas, but it all ends there.

But ask yourself this question....is it worth it to sacrafice your safety to save some money on gas?

This car costs a lot for a car of its size, especially if it includes a 3 cylinder engine. You can get a bigger 4 cylinder car such as a Focus or Yaris for cheaper. Plus you sacrafice certain features standard on bigger cars such as cruise control and tilt steering.

Pros Nothing
Cons Everything

I never drove this car. when i saw this car on the road i thought it would get you at least 50-60 mpg city, then when i researched it it gets 33 mpg.

People there are tons of other cars that can get you this mpg.
this is very small car. i find it unsafe. crash testing wise. 11.500 thousand is TOO much for a 3 cylinder.

Toyota corolla can provide same milliage. safer. more power and more room....read

The one that pissed me off the most was the guy who owns a smart. Why the hell did you buy the car if it scares you so much.

Pros: It has a smooth ride and atracts the laidies.

Cons: i dont feel safe in this car whats so ever.

Purchased As New

I am a 6'3 man and weigh 230 pounds. this car is amazing on fuel economy and it makes a great town car. The only thing i would consider before buying this car is the size of your family. Having a family of 4, we dotn all fit in thi automoble. i had to buy two of them just so my family could go out. Spending about 30,000 dollars i should of just a bought a nice mazda 6 or something more practical. one of the pros is that we only fill up about every 2 weeks because with my wife and I both going to and fro work. The sound system in this car is decent. overall this car isnt the best car iv invested in but it wil do until our economy fixes our gas prices...
