For those of us who have Lojack ...

I have always had the Lojack fob attached to my key ring. It occured to me that if someone stole my car it would probabaly be done by them (somehow) getting the keys. With the fob attached, Lojack would not know the car had been stolen. I now carry the Lojack fob on a separte keyring with my back-up house key.

This might have been obvious to others but it just recntly occured to me. 'Thougth I would share it with you.

I didn't know that, but my father has one in his Nissan pickup and he doesn't have a fob. Instead if someone stole the truck the dealer would remotely turn off the truck rendering it useless for the thief.
Then using the built-in GPS, police would track down the truck, the dealer would deactivate the lojack, and the day ends happily.

That's odd. I don't have a fab, just a card.

The fob came with the upgraded package.

Some sort of auto-alert if the car is started and driven without the fobbed key, it sends a text message or email to you.
