Time from configure to delivery?

I configured on 2/25/2009 The dealer told me I should get my car about 3 to 4 months after I configured.

What has everyone's recent experience been on time from configure to delivery?

It used to be 24 months at some dealers so you're getting of easy. I took a orphan 3 months before my DDE date.

i reserved july 27 08, i configured jan 31 09, got dealer confirmation april 23 09, car is being built april 30 09 arrive at dealer july 1-7 09

i was told late year when i ordered it, about a year was the wait

From your dates it looks like 5 months from configure to delivery.

That goes along with what I was told - 3 to 4 months from configure to delivery

I reserved Jan. 17, 2008;

configured Aug. 24, 2008;

took delivery Jan. 19, 2009

reserved Christmas day 08, configured 01/31/09, and before my dde disappeared it said April 09 to June 09. Now I have no idea have heard nothing from dealer or smart. Dealer checked a few weeks ago and said was not in system yet.

Your DDE will go away for awhile; when it comes back it will have actual dates in the delivery date range. Most folks here have received their cars within 30 - 40 days after the first date in the new DDE.

I got the e-mail to configure mine in March 09 and at that time my DDE was May- July 09, went on and finalized my configuration, and the DDE went to Feb - April 2010.

Next day I went to the Dealer and found an orphan exactly the same as my configuration. Bought it a canceled my reservation: I didn't feel like sitting on the list for another year, since I've already been on it for 11 months.

ordered 5/8/08
configured 12/31/08
delivered to the dealer 4/13/09 - the DDE was showing 3/13/09
picked up 4/18/09 ( have it 150 miles to the dealership)
After the DDE stopped moving it was still adjusting here and there couple of days plus - minus till the end - it took 2 weeks from landing in Baltimore to arrive in Albany,NY at the dealer - longest wait.

But All Ball was an orphan, so that sped things up quite a bit.
