Time from configure to delivery?

I reseerved in June 2008 and was told 12-18 months then. Configured in October, got the email two weeks ago that it would arrive in late June, but my local dealer has about 12-15 Smarts sitting on the lot now, and I actually got mine EARLY by going out and picking out an orphan car that had exactly what I wanted. It actually worked out better for me, because I realized after configuration that my husband's head scraped the ceiling of the models with the sunroof/screen, so we downgraded to the Pure and just got more "stuff" on it, including the SmartMirror which is awesome.

Might want to check with your dealer to see what's sitting on the lot now....your car might be waiting for you! Mine was.

I configured mid November and picked up April th, Almost exactly 4 mos.

I placed my $99 deposit in Mar 09, configured on Apr 3 09, got a DDE of June29-Aug 29, then a call from my dealer that car would be delivered by July 24th.
