I plan to get tinting as well so I'll opt for the 20% on my cabrio once I get it. Thanks for sharing and safety is a concern for me too. This might be one of my last mods to consider.

ever wonder why you dont get sunburns in your car? Auto glass is made to block UV rays. Thats why transition lenses on your glasses dont work in the car either.

Smart Center of Dallas will do it for approx. $300, about twice what it can done for elsewhere.

Call Ralph/SolarTech of Plano 972.333.3079 He works out of his garage, won't be too far from you, AND he actually has Smart experience.

Tell him Randy sent you (if you like) he did my MINI Cooper, Scion tC, and my Audi TT.

Ralph also did my MINI and did a great job ** not a single bubble! Two years and still looks as good as new.

Ralph did my smart yesterday. And yes that was his very first one and he got a real kick out of doing it. Considering he never done tint on a smart it only took him about 1.5 hours and it looks great. 35% front and 10% back.
