It may be too early to tell, but is there any "guides" that the window rubs up against as it is going up or down? I know years ago I had the windows tinted on my Trans Am and after a short while there appeared this streak in the tint where the window would ride on this brace as it would go down and up. It put a permanent wear streak on the tint and eventually rubbed it off.

I plan on tinting mine all around and possibly the front. I understand the legal ramification but have never had trouble before including an all black bmw with the front window tinted 35%.

I would not recommend 35% on the front if you do any night time driving.

Windshield tinting

Had anybody have their entire windshield tinted? ... wondering if it makes a difference in reducing the heat inside the car.

It's also illegal in California but noticed many cars with tinted windshields. I'm thinking of going with a 50-60% tint on mine.

looks like a copy of our car, but I have more tint to the sides, maybe 30% not that its legal but ..oh well,

pictures will be taken after the next wash, been taking to many long trips, and also found a place to powder coat the rims black or maybe yellow next week hen we are gone (flying not driving to Ca)

Here in Louisiana, your tint level is measured before you can get your inspection sticker. My red smart has level 31 which looks great but is a few levels over but they passed it anyway. I don't think we can get any extra tint on the windshield above factory installed tinted windshield. Anyway "Get the tint" it's wonderful.
Waymon 132 Good riding.

Tinted Windows are a must in Florida. Had the dealer do it. So all was set when I picked up.
