Tire chains, what a differance

We got our first 11 inch snow storm yesterday . I put the chains on my wife's little smartie around 9 p.m.Very easy to install, I didn't have to kneel in the snow, move the vehicle, or use a flashlight. They took only a few minutes to put on. My son and I went around our hill town trying to get stuck, drove in unplowed parking lots, up steep grades and even our lawn. Our smart car aced this test. Hope my wife doesn't read this or I'm in deep do do.

I put my chains on today, but only took a quick ride around the block. Tomorrow I may have to go to work and they'll help.

Hmmm?

We don't get snow here, but maybe for offroading?

Suzie: Chains are great for deep snow. Are they rubbing on you painted wheels, at all? There look like there touching the wheel, in places. I worry about rubbing off the paint.
