I thought it was interesting that although the Smart was technically #3, they had it as the featured car on the front page.

That goes to show that if you want the reader's attention, don't do it by showing a Yaris, Fit, Civic, or even a Prius..........YAWN!!!!!

Not to mention that the report was scaled by lowest MPG... IIRC, if they did an average I think the Smart comes out on top. (been a few days since I actually looked at the report.)

Check out this link to see how the fortwo comes out in cost efficiency against the Yaris, Fit, Prius, Civic and other gas and hybrid cars. It could be a real eye opener.
