Totalled smart on eBay - In NC

There is a totalled 2008 smart coupe (red/black w leather) on eBay that is located in North Carolina. Start price is $3k and you'll have to tow or trailer it home. Includes extra Rial wheels & tires. Lots of good parts, including engine and some body panels. Only @2500 miles - It looks like a roll-over.

If I had the $3k and a way to get it, and a place to put it, I would buy it instantly. Selling it for spare parts, Id make it back.

After rebuilding one that was in an accident - I can tell you that this car has very few really good parts left that would justify $3K. Unless you need an engine and transmission...

It appears that there are only TWO orginal factory wheels/tires in the pictures which might cause one to conclude that they were on the car when it rolled? That might suggest that the Rial rims with new tires (with or without TPS?) are fresh and may not have been on the vehicle when it rolled?

After the tow to get it home for parting out I would agree that beyond the wheels/tires (6?), engine and tranny you are looking to resell some very low value plastic interior pieces and parts. Just recouping your $3K investment could be a stretch and then your will have to pay someone to scrap the balance.
