If you can sit on the engine, It will have value in about 4 years as others on the road get over 100K miles on them. Right now, not a lot of value.

Valid point - not unlike the USA Motors investment in Chrysler and GM?

As for writing a $3K check and then sitting on the engine for years, I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze?
