Anyone did any research into the Toyota IQ to be release in mid2009? Any comparisons to SMART Fourtwo?

IQ looks roomier inside.

IMO, it's also quite ugly.

smart = iPod

IQ = MP3 player

IQ offers no Cabrio or Panorama roof like Smart
iQ Coming to US as Scion

You won't be seeing the iQ in '09 unless you're moving outside of the US.

It should be a great car being more versatile (practical) than the smart.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - looks fairly similar to the smart to me.

How can you compair something that you have only seen in photos.

Wait untill they get here, then try and compair, I'm guessing since they are not comming here on the first wave it may not meet all us Standards.

smart still has the micro car market all to it self

Karl is right - for now. But you must admit, when Toyota does something it is usually very good. They have fabulous product, ie Lexus and their marketing and production are usually good as well. Don't sell them short, if they enter the micro car market, they'll give smart a good run. Maybe then, smart will increase production...

it might have more seats but it has no boot unless you fold those extra seats down. Also, would you want to be sitting in the back in a rear shunt??
