I got my VIN today and I swear I remember somewhere seeing where you could enter your VIN and track your car's actual progress. This was different from the Smart USA Delivery Date Estimator, where you enter your email. But now I can't find it. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
D'oh! Never mind. I found the Sticky that talks about it. But my VIN isn't showing up on the cargo tracking yet. I'll keep checking back.

Ditto with me. Don't know if it's on the way or will leave soon, here is a list of ships departing from Germany towards Baltimore.
-Tamerlane, departed 9-16-08
-Don Quijote, departed 9-16-08
-Patriot, 9-16-08
-Undine, 9-19-08
-Fedora, departs 9-25-08
When is the start of your dde Janet? Tracking should be available pretty close to that date. I think typically its about 10 - 14 days from loading to arriving at Baltimore...then add a couple more in your case.
DDE starts 9/29, so I guess I'll try keying the VIN in next week.
you lucky girl, i mean fish....i mean.............oh, nevermind! you know what i mean!!!
just curous though, don't you find it difficult to drive with that tail? can you actually coordinate your tail to brake with your left side tail fin and accelerate with the right?
10 - 14 to cross the atlantic, watching the boat move past the UK, across the ocean, and into Baltimore took 3 separate websites. Tuff part was that it took 2 more weeks to get to Edison NJ, and there's no way to track that! It has to go through Homeland Security, etc. The wait is worth it for sure!
Mine has stayed at 9/6 for several weeks now and have not been able to track with supplied VIN. I am hoping this just meens that it is coming in at a port that is not tracked. I am figuring on around 30 days from DDE start date. Reservation date was 7/13/2007
I received my notice from the dealer that they have been notified of my car. DDE shows OCT 15th but they tell me there is no vin yet. How long did most people wait after being contacted by the dealer that was going to deliver them the car when it arrives?
