If the car is in Florida, winter months does not affect you as much as if you lived up North.

You could try Ebay but there are quite a few scammers on there lately.

One would think that summer and fall would affect Florida more than winter ever could.

The seasons are one of the many great things about living in Southern California. If you want spring, you can drive there. Summer? Drive there. Winter? Drive there. Fall? Drive there. I like the drive-thru seasons far better than the places where the seasons come to you!

Your pal,
Meat.

They will almost always offer more than what the dealer you're actually buying a car from does. Interestingly, though, there are a few Carmax dealers that are no longer offering to buy full-size V8 powered SUVs. Don't ask me how I know ... but if you know of anyone that wants to buy a full-size Jeep Commander 4x4 SUV with V8 Hemi in, you go ahead and drop me a line.

Heh, well thats unfortunate but thats the market for you.

How would all that go down if I actually did decide to sell to Carmax? We dont have another car so Im just worried about timing if we do decide to sell it.

PS. We got a big wood screw in the back passenger tire today, went completely flat on us on the way to work this morning. Had a spare though and someone helped us a bit with it (even though we really didnt need it, appreciated the help either way.) Just glad I bought that Road Hazard warranty from Sears when I got the new tires earlier this year.

PSS. I recently closed both my Paypal and eBay accounts due to their recent policy changes and price increases. eBays going to force everyone to use Paypal exclusively pretty soon. I can do without that.

That is exactly what I did. The smart dealer (South Charlotte) told me flat out that I wouldn't get squat for my truck from them, and would do better at CarMax (handily right next door). Since I didn't really have enough time to sell it myself, that's what I did (I got about a week's notice when the car was due to arrive, and was going in for surgery the week after that. Soo... I took a bit of a beating, but got more than I would have if I had traded at the dealership)
