what happens if the safety cell is dented or damaged?

the exterior is just a cladding over the actual structural components.

If it isn't bad they can drill a small hole behind the dent and push it out, drill a small hole in the dent and pull it out.
If the dent is too bad to repair, the section is removed and a new section is welded in place.
