Ok, I have been scratching my head for well over a month trying to figure out why smart would create two knotches in front of the gear shift to hold two quarters and call it a coin holder. Why would a smart owner need 50 cents when most of us have cell phones? Am I missing something??
BTW, I did put two quarters in there

but I can't see how they would help me unless I'm in a small town in NJ and have to feed the meter. In NY, you need at least $5 worth of quarters to get a decent amount of time, if in fact you find a real coin meter these days. Lots of them are being replaced by the credit card machines. Also, there are very few pay phones (let alone working pay phones) in NYC. Even if you found one, most telephone numbers are now considered long distance.
Please help me understand this design concept! Thanks everyone! Regina
