Two major complaints about my SMART

1. I have to leave early to add time for people asking questions. 2. This thing is a ticket waiting to happen. Speed is deceiving.watch your speedometer.

Same problem here too... I got stop stopped by a police officer just to ask me questions about my car then I went to chick fila to eat and he asked me more question about the car. Prior to that I went to walffle house to eat there but could not because an employee came running out asking me several questions. When I notice my time was running short I went to chick fila to get something to go.
I think I will run out of my car next time..when im short on time to not give any one a chance to stop me...lol..lol

But hey I still love my car.

Is there an 'oddest question' thread?

I have told people that:
- it runs on fry oil
- its a kit
- no, it is not safe, I just like to live dangerously..
- yes, it is electric. But its 220.
- the back seat is there, I just have it folded down.

I don't mind people asking questions, but the other night at dinner, two ladies were actually pushing in the body panels and tapping on the roof!

maybe we need to get these...

Yesterday, a woman smoking a cigarette told me she "wouldn't feel safe in that thing."

It really amazes me-When someone buys a motorcycle, nobody ask them, "Aren't you worried if you get hit with a SUV in that thing?". Yet, that's the first question I get in my Smart. Based on crash tests, I would put a Smart against most smaller cars, especially domestic ones.
