Under Passenger Floor Board on SMART

Under Passenger Floor Board on SMART.
I was wondering if any one had pics or can tell me whats under the floor boad of the Smart Fortwo's?

I heard the following
* Battery
*Tow Hook
*Fix it Flat

There's a styrofoam-like piece that forms the front of the passenger side footwell. In it are the tow hook, goop and compressor. When you lift it out, underneath it is the battery.

I saw the Fix It canister and the air compressor but not the battery. I will check it again to find the battery.

To anyone following this thread... please do not lose the tow eye. They are very important to the tow truck operators out there. If for some reason (unlikely of course) your tow eye gets used, please make sure the tow operator or service department returns it to its proper storage place.

We (Marx Towing) have towed several smarts (for Penske/SOS) in the last 3 months.

You actually have to take out the styrofoam piece to get to the battery. It's a sort-of well under the foam piece. While you're there, check the a/c drain hose. Paul "da man" says that some weren't connected well and have caused trouble.
