Did we really need another thread on this? Can't you just update the previous one?

Hmmmmmm to me it looks obtrusive in all those pics. I will wait to see if someone else comes out with the X-Gauge style.....which is in the otherwise redundant analog clock pod on the dash. I noticed that "nowhere" was not an option in the poll.

Two more options needed. Stored, never to be seen unless I need to know a diagnostic code, and, Why would I want this anyway? Personally, I don't see a need for any of the info offered other than reading codes, and that won't be a concern either - I hope. If my car is throwing off a code - it's going to be doing it at the service department.

Everything else is fairly easy to calculate without using that fugly thing cluttering up my interior. My other cars have or have had this capability built in and I rarely look at it.

Call me different I guess, but I always laugh at a car with every stick-on piece of junk from the Walmart on it, (screams out, This is my first new car!) and although this does have some functionality to it, my money would be better spent elsewhere.

I'm not trying to spoil your fun, it's just my .02.

Forget it, and wait for another that replaces the clock in the pod.

But be sure and save the old clock works for resale time.

The 2 piece shaft collar that attaches to the mirror is available at MSCDirect.com and the spacer should also be. The L-angle can be bought at somewhele like Home Depot and the cable exteneion is just a eithernet cable with a RJ45 plug on both ends.
