I mean how to do this........ Sorry for not being exact.

This is what I'm using too. Except I have the outlet next to the steering column so the Ipod/Iphone is at hand level so it's within sight and easy reach.

Quickie Low Tech Approach

My slacker low tech approach is to temporarily run it out of a slightly cracked glove box. The glove box door seems to stay and look closed. I stuff the cord between the dash and the padding to clean up the look. Lastly leave it in the space to the right of the steering wheel. I leave it stuffed temporarily and rotate ends and adjust length of the cable to keep from crimping the same spot to over and over again.

Sure, it's rough but it's not hanging down around the shifter in case I need to make a floor shift. I also leave enough cable at the iPod end to allow me to hold it at the steering wheel and make easy program changes.

Here's the pics I promised... other than installing the extra outlet there's no drilling... only the one torx screw behind the buttons that holds down the radio cover.

We did end up using 2 sided tape to hold the tuneflex to the side of the radio... gives it a little more stability.

Does the iphone get in the way of your steering or paddle shifters or anything?

No. There's plenty of clearance... it's also easier to skip to the next song without taking your eyes off the road.

It's the base of the tuneflex with the aux cable coming out and going up into the radio/ac housing. The tuneflex is inserted into an additional 12v outlet that I installed in the cubby to the right of the steering wheel. The strange thing to the right of the tuneflex base is the rubber cover for the outlet.
