Vin number
I know I don't have the lowest vin number here, but does anyone know what number they started at? When I walked around the warehouse and dealership, mine was the lowest there. The question is, did they start at 00000, or 10000. I am looking at the last 5 numbers. Mine is 12026.

I believe it is the last 6 digets rather than the last 5. Is the next a 0 or a 1?

Anybody have a grip on what the VIN number means. Can it tell you anything about your smart?

WME = smart
E = 451
J/K = coupé/cabriolet
31 = 70 HP engine
X = passive restraints
9th digit = checksum
8 = 2008 M.Y.
K = assembly building K, Hambach
123456 = serial #
