I would think it would be worth my time one weekend to take a trip to FL and watch / help you with a panel swap...
I know you take yours off regularly to paint them anyway
and would like to learn how...

Not saying it would be easy to coordinate a trip to FL for this...
but let me know when / if you do this swap.. I would love to come and learn

Let me know when you want to come over some time Louis. I'd love to get the club to do a panel swap day but most of the people are sticklers and happy with what they have and firm on that. In March or April at our club cookout I was planning on doing a panel pull demonstration. Most likely I'll have the front and rear sections preassembled with skirts in place to drastically reduce the time.

Multiple people working under my instruction we should have a panel swap on one car done in 45 minutes tops. Closer to 30 minutes.

Myself. That is the whole point of the smart. I tire of driving the same car daily. I think at last count I'm up to 14 color variations I've driven my cars with. Keep em' guessing.

i would never never never get rid of my yellow panels -think about it they do not make yellow-good for us that have them -we are in a class of our own

YEs.. do let me know if you guys do a panel swap day... I would take the drive over to see that...

One day.. I would like to get a spare set of panels and have them painted..
until that time. it would be real nice to know for sure how to take them on and off properly... just to be able to "get under the skin" to do modifications and fix things. ... (aka horn swap thread.. though that one is really too easy :-) )

If you could make a video (please please please) I think some people would pay $5-10 for it (hint hint hint). Evilution provides great reference information with the pictures, instructions and more. But I'd love to see either a team or single expert whip through a panel change at record time on video. Thanks in advance (push push push).

We have decided to change the wheels to the black with a polished 3" lip ... if that looks good with the yellow she probably wont want to trade them... i have a feeling tho that she is still gonna want the black... i will update the thread as soon as we get the wheels on...
