Wanted: affordable wrap:

I'd like to Wrap my smartie:

Front: Dark gray eyelashes, deep red smiling grille.

Driver's Side: 'Health, Education, and Welfare, Not Warfare' over 'Yes We Can.'

Back: 'Round Tables Not Rounds of Bullets.'

Passenger Side: 'The Constitution, Not Corporate Profits' over 'Yes We Can.'

Visual Philosophy: Simplicity; easy to read, easy on the eyes. Non-threatening.

Message Goal: Common sense and common values. We Are The Change We Seek.

Since I'm rather remote from metro areas, it would be great to be able to self-applicate, but I could travel within Oregon if possible.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

I do vinyl graphics work mostly for myself and friends, not a business, but I know a bit about it.

For what you are looking for you might be better off with well made vinyl die cuts than a full wrap. Especially for a self install. A full wrap is a difficult install to get right but the individual cut graphics are easier to handle and self install.

Before I cut my own I used a company called street graphics, I think you can find them on the web.

I also remember seeing a link to a company that produced wraps and graphics on the front page of this site, would be good to support a site supporter.

Shop around as prices will vary greatly. A local sign shop quoted me nearly $3000 and a place I found on this forum quoted me $1500. These prices were with them doing the instalation.

The individual vinyl cuts will be alot cheaper, less material and the labor alone for a wrap is very high (with good reason, its not easy to get right)

People are gonna think you are a loony just by driving a smart, you don't have to plaster it with idealistic nutter slogans. I thought it was only red necks, crazy people and companies that had stuff plastered all over their vehicles. I'm gueesing you aren't a company and have never worn a plaid shirt.

Vinyl cut stickers will probably be a lot more economical - and easily removable. Here in California we have lots of people who can cut designs for you. They even do it at the malls.

There are also plenty of companies on the net that may be able to help.

Your smart, your opinion, your right. Go for it!

Be sure to post pictures!

I wanted to advertise my wife's new book on my smart, and was thinking of static-applied since magnets obviously wouldn't work on plastic. What direction would I go to apply a message about 4 lines long, hopefully with the ability to add cover art when ready and remove it when the second book's ready?
